Emily Jean "Emma" Stone is an American actress who works predominantly in the English film industry. She aspired to be an actor from a young age and after her first onstage role at the age of 11, she made her movie debut in the 2007 comedy Superbad, which starred Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. Emma has also featured in television shows, theater, and music videos.
Where television is concerned, Emma made her debut in the unsold pilot for the reality show The New Partridge Family in 2005, followed by Medium, in the episode Sweet Dreams, and in Malcolm in the Middle, in the episode Lois Strikes Back. She made her Broadway debut in a revival of the musical Cabaret in 2014–2015.
2006 TO 2018:
In 2006, Emma was the voice for character Ivana Tipton in the sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and then in the same year in sitcom Lucky Louie in the episode Get Out. The next year, she was part of the cast for television series Drive, and then played host on Saturday Night Live in the years 2010, 2011, 2016, and 2019. In 2011, she was the voice of various characters in television series Robot Chicken.
Emma was a guest star on television comedy series 30 Rock in the episode The Ballad of Kenneth Parcell in 2012, and again in iCarly. They were followed by Saturday Night Live (2014), Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special (2015), Saturday Night Live (2015), Maya & Marty (2016), Saturday Night Live (2017), and Maniac (2018) for which she was also an executive producer.

In 2016, Emma had an uncredited cameo in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and it was followed with La La Land (2016), Battle of the Sexes (2017), The Favourite (2018), and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). She will also be seen in crime comedy-drama adventure film Cruella, which is scheduled to be released on May 28, 2021.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Emily Jean Stone was born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone, and she has one brother. Emma attended Xavier College Preparatory, an all-girl Catholic high school, as a freshman, but dropped out after one semester to become an actress.

She has been nominated for two AACTA International Awards, three Academy Awards, and four British Academy Film Awards, winning one from each.
