Neha Kakkar is an Indian playback singer who works predominantly in the Hindi film, music and television industries, though she has also worked for Punjabi, Kannada, Telugu and Bengali films. She made her television debut in 2006 as a contestant on season two of reality show Indian Idol and her movie debut in 2010 in Isi Life Mein...!.
After Indian Idol, Neha entered the music industry in 2008 with her first album Neha The Rock Star with the music composed by Meet Bros. The same year she was a contestant on season 1 of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star.
TELEVISION:
Neha has featured in a number of television shows, making a special appearance in 2014 on the show Comedy Nights with Kapil, followed by Comedy Classes in 2015, and then Comedy Nights Bachao, Comedy Nights Live, and The Kapil Sharma Show in 2016. In 2017, she made a special appearance on The Voice India Kids, and in 2019 in Super Dancer and Khatra Khatra Khatra. She was also a judge on a few television shows, namely, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2017 (2017), season 10 of Indian Idol (2018), and season 11 of Indian Idol (2019).
HINDI SONGS:
Neha has a good number of singles and albums under her belt, and from 2013 to 2019, she has released almost 30 of them. She began working on soundtrack albums from 2009, starting with the movie Blue, which had starred Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan and Lara Dutta. The same year she worked in movie Meerabai Not Out, singing the song Hai Rama with Sukhwinder Singh.
2011 TO 2015:

In 2016, Neha worked in 14 movies, namely, Mastizaade, Ki & Ka, Sanam Re, Loveshhuda, Kapoor & Sons, Baaghi, One Night Stand, Baar Baar Dekho, Tum Bin II, Wajah Tum Ho, Force 2, Fever, Dangal, and Jugni. In 2017 for Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Machine, Raabta, Poster Boys, The Final Exit, Bhoomi, Judwaa 2, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi, and Fukrey Returns. In 2018 for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Hate Story 4, Veere Di Wedding, Fanney Khan, Satyameva Jayate, Loveyatri, Badhaai Ho, Baazaar, Tina & Lolo, K.G.F: Chapter 1, and Simmba.
2019:
Neha was just as busy the following year, i.e. 2019, with around 11 projects, namely, Fraud Saiyaan, Luka Chuppi, De De Pyaar De, Student of the Year 2, Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna, Jabariya Jodi, Batla House, Made in China, Marjaavaan, Pagalpanti, and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Neha Kakkar was born on June 6, 1988 in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand to Rishikesh Kakkar and Niti Kakkar, and she has one sister and one brother. She grew up in Delhi and studied at the New Holy Public School in Uttam Nagar, New Delhi.
