Sidharth Shukla was born on 12 December 1980 in a Brahmin family in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father's name was Ashok Shukla and mother's name is Rita Shukla. His father was a civil engineer by profession. He also has two elder sisters in the family. Sidharth did his early education from Savior High School, Fort. He has done interior designing course. Sidharth wanted to become an interior designer before joining acting, but due to more scope in acting, he chose this field.
Known for his roles in Broken but Beautiful 3, Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak, he emerged as the winner of reality shows Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He hosted Savdhaan India and India's Got Talent. He won the title of World's Best Model in December 2005, beating 40 other contestants from Asia, Latin America and Europe. He made his acting debut with the lead role in the 2008 show Babul Ka Aangan Chhote Na. In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut in a supporting role in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Shukla died on 2 September 2021 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 40.
BIGG BOSS JOURNEY:
In 2019, he participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13, and was declared the winner in February 2020. Ormax Media rated Shukla as the most popular contestant of Bigg Boss 13, ranking him as number one in the entire 20 weeks. He was voted the most favorite contestant of Bigg Boss 13 in polls conducted by Hindustan Times, India TV News, and The Times of India. He was the most tweeted contestant of Bigg Boss 13. Shukla won the Bigg Boss #AsliFans (Asli Fans) contest organized by Voot on Twitter, with the hashtag #SidharthKeAsliFans with the most tweets among all the contestants.
TELEVISION:
After Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008-2009, Sidharth went on to star in Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi in the year 2009 to 2010 which was aired on television channel STAR One. He followed it with a guest appearance on Pavitra Rishta in 2010 and then starred in Love U Zindagi in 2011. In 2012, he signed up for Balika Vadhu—Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte and won the GR8! Performer of the Year (Male) award at the Indian Television Academy Awards.
In 2013, Sidharth was a contestant on season 6 of reality television show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and he then made a guest appearance in 2014 on celebrity television talk show Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote his movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The same year he was a guest on season 7 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa to support the contestants. In the period 2014-2015, he played host on television crime show Savdhaan India.
2015 TO 2019:
Sidharth was a host on season 6 of reality television show India's Got Talent and a guest on season 9 of reality show Bigg Boss in 2015. In 2016, he competed in reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and came out the winner, and the same year he was a host on season 7 of India's Got Talent. He then starred in television series Dil Se Dil Tak in 2017 opposite his Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant Rashami Desai.
In 2019, Sidharth had a recurring role in television series Karn Sangini and then was a guest on television dance competition reality show Dance Deewane. From September 29, 2019 he was a contestant on Bigg Boss 13.

DEATH:
Actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla died of a heart attack on September 2 2021 morning. He complained of discomfort at 3 am and didn't wake up in the morning. According to reports, it is said that night before his death, Sidharth Shukla took medicine before sleeping. Everyone in the industry is shocked by the death of 40-year-old actor.
